Under the Bridge
Underneath and alongside the Yass River Bridge, this artwork celebrates Ngunnawal culture and narrates the history of the tribes that lived along the river.
Created by Dale Huddleston in 1999, the mural beneath the Hume Bridge in Yass is a notable public art piece. Commissioned by Yass Valley Council with the Ngunnawal Aboriginal Corporation, it includes contributions from local Indigenous youth, honouring the cultural heritage of the Ngunnawal people.
