Moore Park Skate Bowl | QUEANBEYAN
This vibrant mural at the Moore Park Skate Bowl was created by over 25 young people in collaboration with artists Mike Shankster and Arina Apostolova. Featuring a child snacking on hot chips beside a kookaburra, the artwork captures a familiar skatepark scene while celebrating local wildlife and paying tribute to Queanbeyan-born international pro skater Jack Fardell. Developed through a series of youth workshops, the project was supported by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice Youth Opportunities Program and involved participants aged 11 to 25 from local youth groups.
